UNDERWRITING

Nonprofit radio uses the term underwriting instead of advertising. Since KMMK 88.7 FM is a nonprofit, FCC Non-Commercial Educational (NCE) station with a lower FM band, we have a specific set of FCC guidelines we have to follow. 

As a program underwriter, announcements will recognize your business at times when the people you want to reach are listening. Your announcement will happen on a rotating schedule, 24/7, and these spots are repeated enough that there is coverage when listening is at its highest during morning and evening times.
