Tony May, President
Tony has prior amateur radio experience (KA0QYK) and 20 years of his engineering career in radio and modem communications. Tony started pursuing a radio station with Catholic content when Sue, his wife, heard the call out on EWTN for a window opening of the FCC for FM-NCE (Non Commercial Educational, low part of the FM band) in the October 2007 timeframe.
Tony has kept up with his Catholic faith through Men’s groups and was part of the formation of Men of Action at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Most recently Tony and Sue are in the process of formation for the Order of Secular Franciscans (OSF) which meets at American Martyrs Retreat House.
Mary Kaufmann, Board
Mary has a Master’s Degree of Theology from Loras College and is a certified retreat master from Creighton University. Mary has served as a hospital chaplain. You hear Mary on KMMK with “Minute Meditations”, 60 second spots on faith and faith development.
Tom Hanley, Board
Tom is a Certified Public Accountant and is the current Business Administrator at St. Patrick Church. Tom has earned credits toward a Master’s Degree of Theology from Loras College. He has taught Theology at Xavier High School. Tom is our financial auditor and tax expert.
PLUS Charities At Large Board Members/Volunteers
Sue has a Master’s Degree of Theology from Loras College. Sue taught Theology for 10 years at Xavier High School, having taught Vocal Music at Regis Middle School since its start for 7 years. Sue continues to be the Music Director at St. Patrick Church. She is involved with mailings, organization of the fundraising dinner, as well as other fundraising activities for KMMK.
Rick Kullander, Advancement Director
Rick works at Aliant Energy in commercial real estate and was a realtor before that. Rick has an interest in spiritual formation. Rick is a fundraiser for KMMK.
Tony and Lisa Bejarno
Tony is an engineer and Lisa is a former Youth Minister at St. Pius X and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. The Bejarno’s keep the books on KMMK donors, sending out personal records of givings as well.
